38 years ago Morten Løvli from Egersund started working for a butcher firm. The job was very demanding with a lot of heavy lifting of ice blocks and frozen meat products. Due to the strenuous efforts he eventually got pain in the neck and shoulders that spread throughout his arms.
-It hurt very much, and over the next twenty years, I was on a sick pension. I went to the doctor, who gave me cortisone and a variety of treatments from a physiotherapist, but it only helped for a little while. During the night, it was at its worst, and there were many sleepless nights. The pain also led to migraine headaches, which was very troublesome, he said.
At the Miracle meeting
One spring day in April, 2012 he was offered to attend the Miracle Saturday meeting with Svein-Magne Pedersen in Vennesla. Someone in the family had read the magazine «Healing» that Pedersen was having a healing service. Løvli, his wife, brother in law and sister in law all traveled together to Vennesla.
-Actually I was only along to accompany my wife, and I did not make use of the opportunity to receive prayer. I had slept very badly because of ailment, and it was a tiring road trip. There was still a great calmness over the meeting and a nice atmosphere, but I did not notice anything else in particular.
After the meeting, the family went to sleep in their recreational vehicle that was parked outside the miracle center in Vennesla. The next day they all went home, but stopped at a restaurant to eat dinner.
-Suddenly I discovered that the neck pain was gone, which I told the others. They thought it was great, but I thought it was just by chance. The next day my brother-in-law me asked me how my neck was, and then I noticed that the pain was still gone. It continued this way, and now it has been several months and the symptoms have not returned. The migraine headaches have also disappeared. This is wonderful and also a whole new life for me, says Løvli.
